This year I wanted to do something that I have always wanted to do, but just haven't ever done it.
I got my idea from this Website...Then I interviewed each of my kids and here are their answers...
MaKelle (11th)
1. What was the best part of this year?
Being able to take college and AP Classes.
2. What's your favorite part about being home during the school year?
Being with my family at home.
3. What was your favorite thing to learn about?
Different Math concepts and how they work in the real world.
4. Who was your best friend this year?
Sami Merrell
5. What's your favorite part of the day? Why?
Seminary, because I can get away from the "world" be myself and have opinions.
6. What is something hard you did?
AP History with Hanke
7. What's your favorite book you read?
The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan
8. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Mom and or Author
9. What was something that made you laugh this year?
The Seminary Talent Show, because it helped me to take a break and just have fun. To see others perform their talents was great.
10. What was your favorite activity or field trip this year?
Homecoming it was my First dance and I was able to go with a big group of friends and we made awesome memories.
Landen (10th)
1. What was the best part of this year?
None of it....Being able to visit and make new friends.
2. What's your favorite part about being home during the school year?
Watching movies with the family.
3. What was your favorite thing to learn about?
Dance and the different types.
4. Who was your best friend this year?
Shelby Afleck
5. What's your favorite part of the day? Why?
Lunch because I got to be with my friends without teachers telling me to get to class.
6. What is something hard you did?
Math
7. What's your favorite book you read?
A Child Called "It" by David Pelzer
8. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Cosmologist, Dancer, Baker, and Actor
9. What was something that made you laugh this year?
The Character Program at the High School because it was stupid. It was only beneficial for the "bad" kids and did nothing for the "good" kids.
10. What was your favorite activity or field trip this year?
When the FFA had the hypnotist come.
Salem (6th)
1. What was the best part of this year?
When I was succeeding in all of my classes.
2. What's your favorite part about being home during the school year?
Break from all the chaos at school.
3. What was your favorite thing to learn about?
Reading
4. Who was your best friend this year?
Carson Harper
5. What's your favorite part of the day? Why?
Any breaks we had from school work like Assembly's
6. What is something hard you did?
Making up my school work so I could go on our California Trip
7. What's your favorite book you read?
Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets by JK Rowling
8. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A Theater worker or manager
9. What was something that made you laugh this year?
Trip to the Clark Planetarium because it was just fun.
10. What was your favorite activity or field trip this year?
Again the Field trip to the Clark Planetarium because it was "the only one".
Brooklyn (4th)
1. What was the best part of this year?
Art
2. What's your favorite part about being home during the school year?
Playing
3. What was your favorite thing to learn about?
Science
4. Who was your best friend this year?
Kelsie Lee
5. What's your favorite part of the day? Why?
Recess and Lunch time because the rest of the day was frustrating.
6. What is something hard you did?
Writing because people can't read it.
7. What's your favorite book you read?
Jack and Annie books
8. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Police Officer
9. What was something that made you laugh this year?
Kat when she said my person I colored was naked.
10. What was your favorite activity or field trip this year?
Heritage Park Field trip riding the train and pushing and pulling the hand cart.
